The day of your surgery.

Follow your eating, drinking, and medication instructions. Bring your list of medications. Confirm your ride is arranged and ready.

Arrive at the time we gave you. Park in our lot and enter through the main entrance. Suite 110 is on the ground floor.

Bring your ID, insurance cards, consent forms, and your remaining balance if any. Nothing about your cost should surprise you here. You will already have your estimate in writing.

You will change into a gown, have your vitals checked, and receive an IV if needed. You will meet your nurse, your anesthesia provider, and your surgeon before anything begins. Every one of them will ask your name, date of birth, and what you are having done. That repetition is a safety check, not a mistake.

Your caregiver waits in our reception area and is updated as your case progresses. We will tell you whether they may step out and how we will reach them if plans change.

Your surgeon will confirm and mark the surgical site with you awake and involved.

Waking up can feel groggy or disorienting for a short time. Pain and nausea are managed as needed. How long you stay in recovery depends on your procedure.

Your written instructions are reviewed with you and your caregiver, because sedation affects memory. You take home a printed copy and a number to call.
