Billing
Insurance, estimates, and what things cost.
You should know what you will owe before you decide. Here is how we get you that number.
Insurance
We accept most major insurance plans. Call us to confirm whether your specific plan is in network before scheduling.
Plan participation changes, and networks differ by product within the same insurer. Being listed here does not guarantee your specific plan is in network. We verify your benefits directly and confirm before scheduling. Call 713.804.1959.
You may receive more than one bill
You may receive more than one bill for the same day: one from the surgery center for the facility, one from your surgeon, one for anesthesia, and one from pathology if tissue or specimens are sent out. We will tell you who bills separately and whether they are in your network before your procedure.
Your right to an estimate
Under Texas law effective September 1, 2025, you may request a written statement of the expected billed charges for a scheduled, nonemergency procedure, and we must provide it within five days of your request. If your final bill exceeds that estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute it. The process and contacts are included with every estimate we issue.
If you are uninsured or paying cash
Federal law (the No Surprises Act) requires us to give uninsured and self-pay patients a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before a scheduled procedure. Self-pay pricing is available on request. Call us for a quote before you schedule.
Payment options
Accepted payment methods
We accept major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and cash. Call us to confirm other accepted methods.
Payment plans
Payment plans may be available. Call us to discuss options before your procedure.
Financial assistance
Ask us about financial assistance options and how to apply.
