Before surgery
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Call us as soon as you know so we can offer your time to another patient.
Do you treat children?

Money
Why is an ASC cheaper than a hospital?
An ambulatory surgical center (ASC) has lower overhead than a hospital: no inpatient beds, emergency department, or 24-hour staffing to support. Facility fees are typically lower as a result, though your total cost still depends on your insurance plan and the specific procedure.
Will I get more than one bill?
Often, yes. You may get a bill from the surgery center, one from your surgeon, and one from [[ANESTHESIA GROUP]] or [[PATHOLOGY/LAB]] if those services apply. See our billing page for detail and how to get a written estimate.
Day of
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Most patients need a responsible adult to drive them home and, for many procedures, to stay nearby during your case.
What if I don't have a ride?
Tell us as soon as possible before your procedure day. Many procedures here use sedation and cannot proceed safely without a confirmed ride home.
After
What if something goes wrong here?
Our staff are trained for medical emergencies and we keep emergency equipment on site. If a patient ever needs a higher level of care, we have established protocols to get them there safely. See our Safety & Emergency Preparedness page for detail.
